Inovu Group

The Inovu Group supports customers in medical technology, laboratory technology and industrial automation as an experienced OEM partner. Offering comprehensive value-added services, it manufactures devices and assemblies — from the initial innovation through to series production — benefiting from the technological expertise and over 50 years of experience of Jossi AG and Brütsch Technology AG. The group was formed in 2019 through the merger of these two companies and provides the foundation of the Inovu Group, which supplies several global market leaders in medical and laboratory technology.

Company history

1957
Founding
On May 1, 1957, Hans and Ruth Jossi founded the company “Hans Jossi, Präzissionsmechanik” in Frauenfeld. The young company quickly earned the trust of various large and medium-sized businesses throughout the wider region.
1964
Company-owned building
Following significant orders from the power plant sector, Jossi AG is constructing its own modular, expandable company building in Islikon.
1973
Expansion
The growing volume of manufacturing services, particularly in the medical technology sector, required the production area to be tripled. Further expansions followed in 1983, 1992 and 2001.
1993
Certification
All areas of the company are certified to ISO 9001. Certification to ISO 13485 follows in 2006.
1994
Conversion
As part of the succession plan, Jossi AG will be converted into a public limited company (AG). Through the end of 2019, “Jossi AG,” “Jossi Orthopedics AG”, and “Jossi Management AG”—each legally independent companies — will together form “Jossi Holding AG.”
2012
Additional Location
As part of the expansion of the system assembly business, an additional assembly site will be established and expanded in Wängi
2016
Subsidiary
An independent subsidiary, Jossi Systembau s.r.o., headquartered in Prague, is being established.
2019
Sales
The two owners, Armin and Heinz Jossi, are selling their company to the Inovu Group.
2025
Expansion
The expansion project at the Islikon site has been completed, and the Wängi site is being closed at the same time. This means that all teams are now under one roof.
